Nope there aren't so many of them. You confuse patches and (sources with
patches in). What you are downloading is the latter. The source code for
the whole system with the patches included in.

If you only needed the patches, there's a small tarball of them. Later,
you'd read the beginning of each patch file for instructions about
applying it.

It is smart enough to build only for your architecture.
