This is good as far as I see. The package system and the file hierachy
changes will make it easier to use UNIX as a platform (at least in my
eyes). DJB has made a new system thats far easier to use.
But - It's not up to the standard. First of all, it doesn't conform to
the OpenBSD standard for files. Next, it isn't used very widely (yet).
On the other hand, if noone are going to make the change, the old /usr/*
hierachy will never be removed.

Both are cumbersome as you write.
