I'd preferably put this sort of information in DESCR or similar.
Much cleaner IMO, and won't clutter PLIST. ("Whee, pkg_info -L
says I have these.. - oops, I don't.")

Part of those applications will probably seldom get invoked
from commandline anyways, if I'm not mistaken?
