I've been poking around with 2.6 for a couple weeks now, and I've thus far
set up 3 machines -- a PII-300 workstation, an old p5-133 as a dialup
firewall box, and a way-old 486 as a caching DNS server and DHCP box.

My background is mostly NT, Netware, and the like, with barely enough unix
know-how to copy files and scrape by in vi.

I've found the documentation to be concise and exactly to the point, with
pointers to more detailed info where needed (specifically, the ipf howto);
on the two occasions I was stumped on minor issues, y'all on the list
answered quickly (Theo replied to my /etc/motd question in under 3 minutes,
yow!).

My LAN is running smoother than it ever has before, and I haven't had this
much sheer fun noodling around, learning new stuff, in *years*.

So, a huge, *huge* thank you to everyone who contributes!

(Count me in for a CD, t-shirt, and stickers when 2.7 is released ;)
