If only you had said this morning, I almost have finished quite a complete
SMTP wrapper, it stops mail relaying and supports multiple domains/servers.

Unlike you its written in C, its going to be running quite a busy site on a
rather old box with very little memory, so perl's a bit resource hungery for
my needs.
