Was ifconfig(8) changed to not show the real IPv4 address when using a "-a" flag? It seems that ifconfig -A will show the real and alias addresses, but
ifconfig -a will only show virtual addresses.

You seem a little confused about "real" and "virtual" addresses.
Regardless, no ifconfig was not changed. The example you show is how
its supposed to work, and how it has worked for years.
