Was ifconfig(8) changed to not show the real IPv4 address when using a "-a" flag? It seems that ifconfig -A will show the real and alias addresses, butifconfig -a will only show virtual addresses. You seem a little confused about "real" and "virtual" addresses. Regardless, no ifconfig was not changed. The example you show is how its supposed to work, and how it has worked for years. Adam |
