Is this enough to *fully* support the hardware ?

I have several Dell machines which use the AAC driver. I don't have the aaccli utility installed, as the driver mentioned above alone provides notification if a RAID-1 mirror breaks or the like, and it seems to pay attention to the power status of the RAID battery backup and disable and flush the write-cache if battery power is low, until the battery recharges.

I don't really want or need to install Linux emulation or the closed binary RAID management tool. What I've got now works just fine for me.
